FAQ’s

Q: Where will the new building be located?

A: After much prayer, the new building will be located east of the fountain and north of our Kids Building. It will extend north onto the parking lot where our Awana Game Square is. We will reroute the fire lane around the new building. We will lose a little playground space but will make that space up elsewhere.

Q: How many Life Group rooms will this new building hold?

A: Depending on how much money we raise, the new Life Group building will hold between 20 to 40+ new Life Group rooms of various sizes. If used during all three Life Group hours, that's 60 to 100+ adult Life Groups! Also, moving existing adult Life Groups to the new building from the Kids Building will open up more space to continue multiplying our Kids Life Groups.

Q: How will the new building be used throughout the week?

A: On Sunday mornings, three hours' worth of Life Groups will meet in the new building (at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:00 AM)!

Throughout the rest of the week, the building can be used for men's Bible studies, women's Bible studies, Life Group fellowships, funerals and funeral receptions, leadership meetings, weddings, concerts, support groups, Equip classes, pastoral training, evangelism training, counseling appointments, parachurch ministries, and so much more! Additionally, there will be one large room that will be able to accommodate larger groups and events.

Q: What is the vision for the coffee shop and library?

A: The coffee shop will be open throughout the week and for special events – it will be an incredible place to meet with people and spend time together, whether to fellowship with friends or get together with a new visitor to help them get connected. We are also planning for the coffee shop to be able to accommodate live music. Imagine having a safe place for your kids and grandkids to get some coffee and hang out!

The library will be filled with tens of thousands of the best theological books Christian scholarship has to offer. People will be able to come in and read for their own personal growth. Life Group leaders will be able to come in and study for their Life Group lessons. Pastors from other local churches could even come by to study for their sermons!

Q: How will the new building support the church's mission goals?

A: There will be thousands of people discipled in this new building. That's a lot of people learning about God's heart for the nations and how important it is for all of us to support missions through our prayers and finances! Many of those people will end up becoming church planters and missionaries themselves. In addition to the missionaries who will be trained up in the Life Groups that will meet in the new building, all the profits made at the coffee shop will go to supporting missions! Also, 10% of everything given on Commitment Sunday, December 8, will go towards missions.

Q: What specific features will the new building have?

A: Depending on the amount raised, the plan is for the new building to have dozens of new Life Group rooms, a large coffee shop, and a library.

Q: What type of remodeling work is planned for Building 11?

A: Building 11 is a great facility, but it is currently set up in a configuration conducive for a school office, not for church Life Groups. The remodel would create five rooms specifically tailored for Life Group use.

Q: When will the remodel work begin on Building 11?

A: Lord willing, we are planning on the remodel of Building 11 starting in January 2025.

Q: What is the estimated timeline for the Building 11 remodeling project?

A: We are hopeful that we can remodel Building 11 in around 6 to 9 months.

Q: If the Miracle Goal is reached and the Boardwalk (T-buildings) are removed, what will go in their place?

A: Our hope is to be able to add additional parking and more grass to be used throughout the week in different ways.
